06.12.2009 Shoeshine boys for a day, a unique charity action
A special charity action took place on the 6th December in Cluj Napoca: two diligent shoeshine boys made the shoes of the passers by shine, and donated the money that they collected to the Special Maltese Kindergarten.
Porsche România saves the program „Meals on Wheels”
By donating a Skoda Octavia, Porsche România made it possible for us to continue the program „Meals on Wheels” in Cluj Napoca. So 20 needy seniors will continue to receive a warm meal daily.

Over 70 young people from Albania, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Serbia have met at the 13th edition of Eurocamp in Györújbarát, Hungary.

10.11 Ambulance volunteering in Sfântu Gheorghe
Starting from 10.11.2008 the cooperation between the Sfântu Gheorghe Branch of the Romanian Maltese Relief Service and the Covasna Ambulance Service has been reestablished and 15 young volunteers will help with the daily work of the Ambulance Service.

At the 2nd Maria Charity Ball organized at Continental Hotel in Timişoara on the 6th of September by Timişoara branch, over 20.500 lei were raised sum which will be used in carrying out the project “Meals on wheels”.
17.08-31.08 Camp in Oradea for children of the flood victims from Maramureş and Moldova
Between 5 and 31 August, the Oradea branch of SAMR carried out a relief project to help the flood victims in Maramureş and Moldova.
