The Romanian Maltese Relief Service
The Romanian Maltese Relief Service (SAMR) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Cluj-Napoca. For 25 years, through our 17 subsidiaries and branches in the country, we are developing programs for the benefit of those in need – the elderly, the sick, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. 1,200 volunteers are constantly involved to help them live with dignity, without distinction of ethnicity, religion, gender or political affiliation.
Christian values and the humanitarian principles is the foundation of our actions: The Romanian Maltese Relief Service is the bearer of the Sovereign Order of Malta mission.
