Since 1991, the founding of the Romanian Maltese Relief Service, the association has taken over the role to redistribute the collected aid containing goods, food, equipment directed towards social state institutions. Thus, we equipped hospitals, furnished schools and homes. More than 500 institutions received goods of long-term use from the Romanian Maltese Relief Service.
We also have to mention here that many of the above mentioned institutions, being administered by the state or other organization benefit of the help of SAMR volunteers. This way, the help we offer doesn’t only consist of goods given to hospitalized and registered people but also of the work carried out by the volunteers.
