Every year the volunteers of the Maltese Relief Service participate in the biggest Catholic pilgrimages in Romania with over 400 members coming from the majority of the branches in Transylvania, to pray for our beneficiaries and volunteers. Every year, the groups from Sfântu Gheorghe and Târgu Mureş cover the distance to Şumuleu Ciuc on foot, as a thank to the Blessed Virgin for the divine help and gratitude. The Maltese organizations in Banat have been organizing a special pilgrimage to Maria Radna for the volunteers of the organization for more than 10 years.
