A talented child who is not supported is a lost talent, unexploited, becoming a huge loss for the future generations. Unfortunately, there are many talented children who, coming from families in need, do not benefit of any support in improving their talent. This negligence is due to the insecure financial situation on one hand, on the other hand to the absence of interest of the parents. The Târgu Mureş branch of the Maltese Relief Service aims to help these children by organizing clubs, workshops and camps meant to develop the potentials of the talented poor children.

            In 2007 the project ‘Supporting talented poor children’ was carried out when literature and painting competitions and shows were organized with the participation of 130 children and 8 young people. At the same time creative workshops were organized for 126 children.
