Besides the permanently running programs, the SAMR volunteers do a series of different temporary/ periodical activities dedicated to the elderly: washing and ironing clothes, visits to hospital and to homes for the elderly, celebrating birthdays, festive performances, Christmas chants, celebrating golden wedding, offering humanitarian aid, distribution of parcels. The young volunteers take part in these activities with zest, thus showing their respect towards the elderly and that they care about them.
