The Home for Phisically Disabled Adults in Dorobanţi (Arad county) is permanently assisting physically disabled elderly people, who's social abandon coincided with the ageing of their family or with their incapacity to ensure the necessary support. Under these conditions, if it is impossible to keep the health level of the disabled elderly on an acceptable level at their home, they need permanent assistance in a specialized institution.
The home for physically disabled adults in Dorobanţi is the only home for adults of this kind in the whole country and it is recognized for its results in the field of social and medical assistance. At the moment 45 people benefit of its services.
